The Dallas Cowboys were founded in 1960 to Clint Murchison Jr, John D. Murchison, Bedford Wynne. Clint had 45%, John had 45, and Bedford had 5%. At the time the Dallas Cowboys were not called the Cowboys, they were first named The Dallas Steers. They were not doing well in the first seasons when they joined, but in 1966 they witness their first winning season. They finished with a 10-3-1 record and at the top of the Eastern Confrence. They went to the NFL confrence game against the Green Bay Packers. This game would send the winning team into the first ever Super Bowl. Unfortunately Dallas lost the game.
